Our self-supporting hatch unit is a complement to the rest of the floor surface built from Sapa flooring profiles. It offers a simple solution for adding an inspection hatch, and is, in principle, installed in the same way as an ordinary flooring profile. No extra supporting elements need to be added to the steel floor structure, since the supporting structure for the hatch is built into the actual hatch unit.
In most cases, the hatch can be fitted with some type of lock if required, and a removable protective grid is available for the hatch opening.
